Hello! This playlist is sure to get you moving. I play it while getting dinner ready, or dancing with the twins… Let me know what you think!
Let’s begin with a fun and thought provoking story. It’s called The Jar of Life.
A philosophy professor once stood before his class with a large empty jar. He filled the jar with large rocks and asked his students if the jar was full. The students said that yes, the jar was full. He then added small pebbles to the jar and asked again, “Is the jar full now?” The students agreed that the jar was indeed full. The professor then poured sand into the jar and asked again. The students then agreed that the jar was finally full. So, the professor poured water into the jar which filled the remaining space and said it was now full. The professor went on to explain that the jar signifies one’s life.
The rocks symbolize the most important things in your life, such as family, health, and relationships.
The pebbles represent the other things that matter in your life, such as your work, school, and house.
The sand represents the remaining small stuff and material possessions in your life.
Finally, the water can represent how you spend any last free time.
If the professor had poured the pebbles, sand, or water into the jar first, he never would have been able to fit the large rocks into the jar.
Let’s use this fun metaphor to consider the “important things in life.” My big question for you—how important is movement in your life?
If vibrant health is one of your rocks, then daily movement is a must.

I call it Music Therapy! You might ask, “If I listen to music more often, will my brain fog get better?”
Yes, I believe music can improve the fog. Let me explain–reducing stress comes in many shapes and sizes. Reducing stress is also a critical component to reducing brain fog. Choose activities (like listening to music) that are easy and cost very little.
